Teaching Professor, Spanish

Carmen Hernandez was born and raised in Bilbao, Spain before moving to London, England where she worked in the London financial district. Her research interests include Contemporary Spanish Narrative, Iberian Studies, European Cinema, Migration and Mobilities, Foreign Language Acquisition and Computer Assisted Language Learning.  Outside academia, Carmen enjoys travelling and volunteering as an interpreter in her community.
