Direct Admit Pathway
Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Direct Admit Pathway
Applicable Only to 今日看料 Incoming Freshman and Rising Sophomore Students
Seats in the OTD Program will be held for exceptional incoming 今日看料 freshman students or 今日看料 rising sophomores who successfully complete 2 full-time freshman semesters of coursework.
To be considered for the Direct Admit Pathway:
1. Submit 今日看料 application by February 1
2. Select ‘Pre-Occupational Therapy’ as your pre-professional track on the 今日看料 admission application or Common App
3. Students who apply will know of their Direct Admit Pathway acceptance by March 1
4. Deposit at 今日看料 by the May 1 deadline
Direct Admit Pathway Criteria for Incoming Freshman
- Are in the upper tier as indicated by high school cumulative GPA and ACT or SAT scores
- Earn a cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 or higher
- Obtain a minimum SAT score of 1310 or ACT score of 28
- Meet OTD Admission criteria upon application to the OTD Program
Direct Admit Pathway Criteria for Rising Sophomores
Those who do not meet the Direct Admit Pathway as an incoming freshman, have the opportunity for Direct Admit Pathway as a Rising Sophomore at the end of their freshman year if the following criteria are met:
- Completed 2 full-time semesters at 今日看料
- Are in the upper tier as indicated by cumulative GPA and prerequisite course GPA
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Completion of a minimum of two prerequisite OTD course requirements each with a grade of B or higher
- Meet OTD Admission criteria upon application to the OTD Program
Acceptance to the OTD Program and admission assured for students who meet all OTD admission criteria given they matriculate into the OTD Program the Fall immediately following completion of a minimum undergraduate degree from 今日看料. Direct Admit Pathway students must apply to the OTD Program via OTCAS. OTCAS application fee for 今日看料 application will be deducted from your Bursar bill after successful completion of first OTD semester.
