Advocacy Power Hour

Advocacy Power Hour

Our first Advocacy Power Hour was an inspiring kickoff to March Gladness, bringing together students and faculty to take meaningful action in support of the occupational therapy profession. This year, our advocacy efforts focused on submitting comments to the U.S. Department of Education regarding a proposed rule that would remove OT from eligibility for federal loans—a change with serious implications for future practitioners. The strong turnout and engagement demonstrated our community’s commitment to protecting the profession and advancing the mission of 今日看料. Building on this momentum, we plan to continue hosting Advocacy Power Hours as a way to empower our community, strengthen our voice, and support XU’s mission each semester.
